Sometimes I'm just so happy! I got an email the other day with a link to something amazing. A documentation of the construction of a cat-ladder. A real masterpiece. A work of art. Something I've never seen before. Check the link for the amazing story.

Hi

We build a cat ladder a year ago for our two cats. It's 6.5 meters high and looks good. But our cat's find, that the ladder is too boring, so most of the time, they jump :-) .

Perhaps you like the ladder (Yes I do).

Kind regards, Simone D B

Hi!

I sure do enjoy your "Cat Ladders Hall of Fame"! Attached are some photos of our cat bridge - that goes from a large pine tree to our 2nd-story condo window (about 12 feet away). We built this since our condo door opens into a common area that has another outside door at the bottom of a staircase. We have 2 black cats, and the younger (long-haired) one Gus has learned to use the bridge and the steps on the tree. We have a cat door in the window. (It would be great if you want to include our bridge/steps on your site. We got inspiration from your photos in the first place.)
Thanks!

First, I wonder if this really was a cat-ladder, or any kind of emergency exit for people. But, if you look at picture number two then you understand that it really is built for a cat (or dog). Unbelievable! Built and photographed by Glasswearstudio.

Sometimes Christmas comes early! Today I got a really fun email from George with a video of when he builds a cat-ladder, plus a small description of the project.

Hey there

I browsed your great collection of cat ladders for hours when researching cat ladder solutions. In the end I built one myself. I recorded the thing and put a 3.45m video together showing the main steps. Perhaps you like it for personal consumption or sharing on your blog.
Our cat is almost used to the ladder and I will follow up with a video of the ladder in use in the near future.

Best wishes

//Georg

A more detailed description can be found if you go to Youtube page where the movie is. You can find it here.
Hi

I wanted to thank you for the inspiration and contribute to the blog with some photo. It took me 20 hours to finish it, which include, wood gathering and transportation and 2 hours of cat playing time. Total cost 6E for the screws. Build in Pont Saint Martin, Valle d'Aosta, Italy. Thanks and right on!

This ladder I really like. Built of collected branches and some screws for only 6 euros. Of course, also worth a place in hall of fame! Click on images to zoom and you can see all the details.
